About

I am a writer, artist, thinker, and teacher. For the past 10 years of my life I have done yoga every day to live, love and be, present. My thoughts after yoga have been the basis of grounding my body, mind and spirit–my life and creative work. In February 2011, I was hit by a taxi in NYC, then lost my professorship and apartment because the extent of my injuries made it impossible for me to work. I had to leave NYC and relocate to Los Angeles to recover.

In January 2012 as I went back to yoga for the first time since, I began this online journal of  recovery to understand what I am supposed to be learning from this space…how this understanding is echoing outwards throughout my life.
